The Ambassador Program at St. Francis is for 8th grade students who have an interest in a service-oriented leadership group. It provides students with a great number of opportunities to lead and engage in meaningful leadership experiences with the school and church community. They are greeters at church at daily mass, they help with activities like Open House, Battle of the Books, Scholar’s Bowl, Religion Bowl and the Blood Drive, and other functions.
The students understand that offering service and time is a great beginning to becoming outstanding leaders in their school and church community and an active steward for life. We hope students understand that service to others inspires a meaningful purpose in their lives. They need to be able to relate and communicate well so that they can influence and motivate themselves and others at St. Francis.
Ambassadors must write a letter to Mrs. Carter and be approved at the end of 7th grade in order to be an Ambassador.
