Communication

Internet Committee

Mission:

Sharing the broad fabric of St. Francis of Assisi Parish in the most up-to-date, electronic way possible with its parishioners, the country, and - ultimately - the world.

Activities:

The committee updates the website with new information and/or changes. They also provide assistance and guidance to persons and organizations who wish to display information on the website. The committee also provides assistance to persons and groups who will be adding or updating information to the website themselves, while providing oversight on all material that is on the website and taking corrective action as appropriate.

Special Publications

Mission:

To provide valuable information to all St. Francis parishioners. In doing so, this committee will produce various publications of general interest and distribute in a variety of forms, anything from pamphlets to promotional projects.

Vernacular

Mission:

The Vernacular Committee is responsible for the St. Francis of Assisi monthly newsletter, The Vernacular.

Activities:

The Vernacular, the parish newsletter, is mailed monthly to the home for each registered household. It contains news and photographs of parish interest. The Vernacular also publishes interesting and informative articles about the Catholic faith, usually written by volunteer reporters from the parish.

Deadline for articles, calendar items or other information to be published in The Vernacular is the last day of each month.
